Cliff fall at Broadstairs ... David Kerr Celebrity Photographer.
A very sad week as a young man dies after falling from the cliff at Louisa Bay in Broadstairs. Thoughts and prayers for those who knew him.
Welcome to Broadstairs ... Earthing !
Broadstairs is a coastal town on the Isle of Thanet in the Thanet district of east Kent, England, about 80 miles (130 km) south-east of London. It is part of the civil parish of Broadstairs and St Peter's, which includes St. Peter's and had a population in 2001 of about 24,000. Situated between Margate and Ramsgate, it is one of Thanet's seaside resorts, known as the "Jewel in Thanet's crown". The town's crest motto is Stella Maris ("Star of the Sea"). The name derives from a former flight of steps in the chalk cliff, which led from the sands up to the 11th-century shrine of St Mary on the cliff top.
"Broadstairs" breaks world record : Dancing Queens ... David Kerr Celebrity Photographer.
Dancing Queen is ABBA's biggest selling single worldwide
Organisers of an ABBA-themed festival in Thanet this weekend are aiming to complete a dance performance world record.
They hope 1,000 people will take part in a choreographed dance in Broadstairs to the 1976 hit Dancing Queen.
Each dancer is asked to raise money for the Special Care Baby Unit at the QEQM Hospital in Margate and the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign.

David kerr Photographer : Bank Holiday beach fun ...
The hot weather brought out the crowds at Broadstairs beach today. I love watching the visitors struggle down to the beach with kids, pushchairs, inflatable boats, food hampers, wind breaks, spades, buckets and balls. The most popular activity is "hole digging", leaving the beach looking like the surface of the Moon.
